In 2010 I entered into the world of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood for the first time. I asked my general practitioner for an OB recommendation, made an appointment, picked up THE pregnancy book and thought I was set. Since then I have learned how little I knew and how ill prepared I really was. In today’s society of far flung families and overwhelming schedules it can be difficult to receive the support and information upon entering parenthood that past generations took for granted. I have become passionate about helping women and families have access to the information and resources to make the right decisions and connections for their situations. I hope to create a helpful resource as well as a community for Southeast Michigan families.
I now have 2 young sons, am a stay at home mom, and am training to become a DONA certified Doula. I am also a trained massage therapist who studied at Irene’s Institute of Myomassalogy. While my main passion is the physical and mental wellbeing of women and babies, I have many other interests including frugality, healthy living, reading, and just teaching and loving my boys!
